The Sing-Off has been the most incredible experience. The sheer energy, talent, and unbridled joy that emanates from Stage 15 is really quite amazing. My first foray into The Sing-Off was when my SoCal VoCal alumni friends asked me to arrange for their new group called “The SoCals” Season 1. When Season 2 came around, I was brought on to the Sing-Off music staff as an assistant vocal arranger by vocal producer Deke Sharon and mixing engineer Ed Boyer. During that season, I was promoted to vocal arranger and continued into Season 3. Throughout the run of the show, I have mostly arranged for and coached groups, but have also worn some other hats such as audio editor, demo singer, composer, and casting consultant.
