The Backbeats

The Backbeats is a group I am very close with – I was actually going to be in the group before I was offered a job on The Sing-Off!  The group is comprised of some of my closest friends, and it was amazing to watch their journey on The Sing-Off.  I had the privilege of arranging all of their repertoire on the show, and most everything since the show as well.  After they came in 3rd on Season 2 of The Sing-Off, they were offered a recording contract with Arrival Records and a distribution deal with Sony.  I arranged, produced, and recorded this album for the group, with a lot of help from their music director Kenton Chen.  I’m really proud of how it turned out, take a listen!
